Cycling To Indrayani River

Indrayani river is one of the most peaceful spots for cycling if you are living near Chinchwad in Pune. But the bridge is busy after 8 in the morning, so we started cycling around 6am. Add this with the winter mornings of Pune, we had some tough time till our bodies got used to it. Mostly the whole route consist of city roads and it was a total of19km round trip from the place where I started.

After taking a small left you exit the city roads and a small narrow uphill road leads you to the river. There are two parts here, 1st is the temple behind the river and second is the bridge that passes through the river. We sat near the temple and rested for some time and then took our bicycles on the bridge. Because later there are many 2 wheelers passing through it and it is dangerous to stand with our cycles as there are no side supports.

Had fun cycling up to here and watching the sunrise, clicking some good photos and returning back to the office on time, It is a short and simple cycling route and also does not require a lot of stamina, so easy even for starters.
