This is one of the best treks in Maharashtra and one must at least do this trek once in his life .
So speaking about our means of travel we were a group of 11 friends ,we had a car, 2 bikes and a scooty the way up to the base village is very simple and you can reach there easily with the help of Google maps. It would take you around 4 hours to reach the base village Khireshwar from Ghatkopar or Dombivali . We did this trek from Khireshwar, there are also many alternate routes. But this one is quite easy and the view on the way is just amazing .
So we started our journey early in the morning reached the base parked our vehicles and started this trek when the sun was just atop of our heads.

The Direction for this trek is well mentioned and also you can watch many videos and read many detailed blogs available on this trek. So the way up is not that easy actually I did this on a winter afternoon, your throat dries up very fast and you need enough water with you but still there are stalls once you cross the forest section where you all can relax a bit and think of your way ahead.
Once you entered the forest section it's actually very relaxing as it is a quite flat region and also feels like a pleasant walk in nature .But the route after this is quite challenging. Once you cross the forest section there are 2 ways to reach the top you can choose any 1 but the one that take you through the temple is the best take a right for this one . It would take you around 3 hours from the forest section to reach the top. So in total it would take you around 5 hours to complete this trek . Once on the top you can visit the famous temple and caves there .

But finish everything and reach Konkan kada by sunset cause you don't want to miss the sunset from this cliff area . It's so gooood, once done with the sunset and clicking pics we found a nice place for our tents, we had 3 tents in total also don't try to cook food on the top you can buy homemade food from the villagers they will provide you good and hot food in your tents.
From the top of Konkan kada you can also view sections of naneghat.
The next day we tried to wake up early to start our trek to Taramati peak which is around 1 hour of trek from Konkan kada .On the trek upward you will find many old water tanks still preserved in good condition. So starting this trek we realized that one of my friend had left his key in the bike parked in the base village. So terrified by what would happen we left konakan kada that was covered in mist . Tried our best to complete Taramati as soon as possible and ran back to the. Base as soon as possible. I would not recommend you to do this but we had a situation so from the group of 11 ,3 of us decended down in 1 and half hour and found the bike and key safe right there . We had a nice sleep until the whole group came down also witnessed a nice lake reservoir and had a bath there.
